Derek Chauvin pleads not guilty to federal civil rights charges in 2017 incident

Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin pleaded not guilty Thursday to federal civil rights charges for a 2017 incident in which he’s accused of holding a 14-year-old boy down by the throat and striking the child multiple times in the head with a flashlight.
