St. Paul filmmaker, and grandson of Rube Goldberg, teams up with the Minnesota JCC for new exhibit
Influential cartoonist Rube Goldberg is the focus of two new exhibits at the Minnesota Jewish Community Center. It all started when his grandson, filmmaker Geoffrey George of St. Paul, told the JCC he had a basement full of original Rube drawings. Along with displaying the artwork, they commissioned a local artist, Robin Schwartzman to create a Rube-inspired machine for the Sabes Center. The exhibits are on display at the St. Paul and St. Louis Park Jewish Community Centers’ through December 20th.
