80 crashes on Minnesota roads amid burst of snow

A burst of light snow made for slippery roads in some areas of the state Wednesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says there were 80 crashes between 6-10 a.m. Wednesday, including four that resulted in injuries. There were also 24 vehicle spinouts/vehicles off the road and one jackknifed semi-truck.

Roads in central Minnesota were partially or completely covered in snow during the morning rush hour, according to MnDOT's website, while roads in the Twin Cities are described as partially covered or free of snow.
