Monday’s forecast in Minnesota
What to expect: A spotty mix of light snow, sleet and freezing rain is possible through the late morning. The precipitation could create some scattered slippery spots on roadways, though it will be isolated.
Temperatures will remain steady on Monday with widespread highs in the lower 30s. The Twin Cities metro daytime high is 32 degrees.
Overnight the cloud coverage will linger as temperatures dip into the mid-20s.
Cloudy and mild week in Twin Cities
What’s next: The week ahead is relatively mild and cloudy with above-average temperatures. A thawing trend could begin on Tuesday as temperatures hover in the lower 30s.
Snow will still be on the ground for Christmas, though it will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-30s.
By the end of the week, temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and low 40s, where we could see chances for rain.
