What to expect: It’s a seasonally chilly but quiet Thursday, with northwesterly winds at 5-15 mph. Pockets of sunshine could break through the clouds for a brighter day in the Twin Cities metro.
Temperatures in the metro area will reach around 19 degrees, with statewide highs ranging from the teens to the lower 20s. The average high for this time of year is 24 degrees.
Expect the occasional passing clouds overnight as temperatures fall into the single digits for much of the state, and dip below zero in northern Minnesota.
