MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - It’s a bright and chilly start to the workweek, with temperatures in the upper teens and plenty of sunshine before clouds move in later on Monday.

What to expect: It’s a chilly start to Monday with temperatures in the single digits, though it will warm to around 19 degrees in the Twin Cities metro. Most of the state will see highs in the teens, with northern regions remaining in the single digits.
The day will start with clear skies and plenty of sunshine, though clouds will gradually increase by the afternoon. Winds will stay light, coming from the north at 5-10 mph.
The cloud coverage will help keep temperatures a bit warmer overnight, dipping to around 11 degrees in the metro area. Across the state, most temperatures will stay in the double digits.

What’s next: The cloud coverage will linger on Tuesday, but try and clear for some late-day sunshine. It will be slightly warmer, with a high of around 20 degrees for the metro area.
Wednesday brings a mix of sunshine and clouds with slightly cooler temperatures in the teens. By Thursday, temperatures will climb into the upper 20s with occasional sunshine.
The cloud coverage will increase again toward the end of the week, but conditions will remain calm with warmer temperatures in the upper 20s.
