What to expect: It's a bright day on Tuesday with high clouds passing throughout the day, allowing for some filtered sunshine. 

Northerly winds at 5-10 mph will keep temperatures closer to seasonable on Tuesday, with widespread highs in the upper teens and low 20s. Northern Minnesota will see slightly cooler temperatures, while the Twin Cities metro daytime high is 21 degrees. 

Overnight, it remains quiet and tranquil with partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures in the single digits.

Chances for snowflakes 

What's next: Wednesday brings partly cloudy skies with a high of around 20 degrees. By Thursday, winds will shift to the southwest, ushering in slightly warmer conditions with temperatures in the upper 20s and pocket low 30s. 

Two clipper systems could bring the chance for snow flurries on Thursday and then again on Saturday night into Sunday. The rest of the week remains calm with temperatures dipping back into the teens by Monday.
