Minnesota weather: Storms move out

Jennifer McDermed looks ahead after a line of storms swept through the Twin Cities.

Storms that swept through the Twin Cities on Tuesday have begun to move out. The storms, which have weakened, have moved off to the northeast.

The severe weather left behind some damage, particularly in the north metro where trees were downed in the Circle Pines/Blaine area.

The remainder of the week looks cooler with temperatures back in the 70s.

Storms roll through northern Twin Cities

Storms rolled through Minnesota on Tuesday evening, leaving areas of destruction in communities such as Coon Rapids and Blaine.
