MN weather: Another day filled with cold sunshine

Sunday will be filled with cold sunshine with wind chills making it feel like sub-zero all day. FOX 9 meteorologist Jennifer McDermed has the full forecast.

The Brief

    • Sunday will continue the trend of chilly sunshine. 
    • Afternoon highs are expected to reach the low teens, but wind chills will make it feel below zero. 
    • The next week will have no chance of any snow with temperatures staying below average. 

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Sunday will be another day filled with sunshine and wind chills that will make temperatures feel below zero.

What we know: Sunday afternoon high temperatures are expected to be in the upper teens, but wind chills will make it feel subzero all day.

Winds coming in from the north will likely reach speeds of 10 to 15 mph.

Besides a small amount of cloud cover in the southern part of Minnesota, clear skies will be bringing plenty of sunshine.

What's next: The forecast shows temperatures will stay below average for the next few days. 

Highs are expected to stay in the teens and overnight lows will likely stay in the single digits.
