Storms bringing downpours push through Twin Cities

Storms that brought some downpours and gusts of wind to the Twin Cities metro are now pushing into western Wisconsin.

The storms so far have brought plenty of rain to areas in the north metro but no reports of major damage. However, they have temporarily knocked out power to thousands of residents. FOX 9 did receive reports of some downed trees and branches across the metro.

Some areas have reported some hail, including golf ball to tennis ball-sized hail in Rice Lake, Wisconsin area.
