It may be winter here in Minnesota but its summer down under. Australia has seen hot and dry conditions, especially in Queensland. The long stretch of hot and dry weather was broken recently when heavy rains drenched Queensland. Now, fast forward ten days and the recent deluge of life giving moisture has resulted in an explosion of moths. These moths are millions strong and are coating the town of Winton with an eerie sight similar to a horror movie. Relatively harmless, but extremely intimidating, these moths swarm in when the lights come on. They are coating the town by the millions, resulting in some slippery situations to those traveling on foot or by car. Check them out in the video above.
