There were over 20 reports of severe weather across central Minnesota on Saturday as several strong storms developed and push northward across the state during the afternoon and evening hours. While overall damage was not widespread, there were a few reports of downed trees, blown out windows, and roof damage to several structures, along with some localized flooding because of the heavy rains.

More is possible on Sunday with a slight risk for severe storms during the afternoon and evening hours. This greatest threat areas appear to be along the I-94 corridor from the metro into western Wisconsin. Large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain, and isolated tornadoes will all be possible during the afternoon and evening.

These storms will be hit or miss, luck of the draw, so not everyone will get wild weather during the day. Stay tuned with fox9.com and the Fox 9 Weather App for the latest on the severe storms if/when they develop.
