1 killed, 1 hurt in 2 St. Paul shootings
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - One man was killed and another was injured after two shootings blocks apart near St. Paul's Payne-Phalen neighborhood on Monday night, but police haven’t confirmed if they’re connected.
St. Paul police Sgt. Mike Ernster said police are treating the shootings as two separate incidents as the investigation unfolds.
At about 9:30 p.m. on Monday, St. Paul police responded to the 700-block of Orange Avenue and found a man with a gunshot wound, later identified by the Ramsey County medical examiner as Htoo Baw, 54. He was brought to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers are still searching for a suspect, but did not give a suspect description.

About 20 minutes before the Orange Avenue shooting, a man was injured a few blocks away in a shooting at Arcade Street and Rose Avenue.
