Drones spotted over Red Wing nuclear plant, no threat to public: Police
RED WING, Minn. (FOX 9) - Two drones were spotted flying over the Prairie Island nuclear plant in Red Wing on Wednesday evening.

What we know:
According to Red Wing police, just after 6:30 p.m., authorities received a complaint from the Prairie Island Nuclear Plant stating that four to five drones were flying around in the area.
When officers arrived, they found two drones flying around the nuclear plant.
Police say that officers monitored the drones until they flew away, and could no longer be seen in the area.
Officers were not able to find who was responsible for flying the drones. Red Wing police said they are not currently investigating the incident and there is no active threat to the public.
What we don't know:
Police did not say who was flying the drones, or why they were flying them.
