Minneapolis PD investigating homicide on Franklin and Chicago
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police are investigating a homicide near the intersection of Franklin Avenue East and Chicago Avenue South in the Ventura Village neighborhood.
Officers were called to the scene at 7:15 a.m. on a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Some of the shooting was captured on street cameras. Police believe the suspect and the victim knew each other.

The shooting remains under investigation.
