Due to a lack of visibility and the fast rate of snowfall, no flights are taking off or landing at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport.

Passengers lined up to rebook their flights after hundreds of flights were canceled due to the storm.

Operations will be halted until at least 10 p.m. Saturday night the airport announced on Twitter. Originally, the airport hoped to have runways open by 7 p.m.

A blizzard warning was issued for the Twin Cities Metro Saturday.
