Police investigating hit-and-run that killed dog in Bloomington, Minn.

Police in Bloomington, Minnesota, are investigating a hit-and-run after a vehicle crashed through a fence Thursday night, fatally striking a dog in his yard.

According to police, shortly before 11 p.m., a vehicle jumped the curb and crashed through a fence in the 2400 block of West 102nd Street. The family’s dog was struck and died from injuries caused by the crash.

The vehicle is described as an white older model, possibly late '80s or early '90s, two-door Mazda-type vehicle.
