Who is Tony Buzbee? A look at the attorney accusing Diddy, Jay-Z of raping minor

Attorney Tony Buzbee is in the news after he filed a lawsuit that named Jay-Z which alleges that the music mogul and entertainer Sean "Diddy" Combs raped a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000.
Jay-Z released a statement and denied the allegations, calling them "blackmail" and calling Buzbee a "fraud."

Buzbee responded to Jay-Z’s statement with his own claiming that he never demanded money, and that the rapper tried to "bully and harass" him and the plaintiff in the case, FOX 26 Houston reported, citing Buzbee’s statement.
Buzbee is representing dozens of alleged victims of Diddy.
Who is Tony Buzbee?
Tony Buzbee is a prominent Houston lawyer who made a name for himself suing and settling cases against gas companies, chemical firms, and trucking organizations.
Buzbee also helped a group of women reach out-of-court agreements with Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson over sexual misconduct allegations.
The Hollywood Reporter noted that Buzbee has also been in the news for successfully defending former Gov. Rick Perry against abuse-of-power accusations and unsuccessfully defending Los Angeles socialite Rebecca Grossman, who was convicted of second-degree murder.
Buzbee, who also served in the Marine Corps, has represented plaintiffs in a variety of cases, including singer Jimmy Buffet in a trademark infringement case, more than 10,000 offshore drilling workers in an antitrust and class action case related to wage fixing, which resulted in a huge settlement for the workers, and he represented over 160 workers injured in the largest industrial accident in U.S. history, which resulted in a favorable settlement, according to The Buzbee Law Firm’s website.
Buzbee graduated from Texas A&M and later entered the U.S. Marine Corps, and then enrolled in law school at the University of Houston Law Center.
He started his legal career as a briefing attorney for a federal judge and went on to start his own law firm, The Buzbee Law Firm.
