Van carrying 10 people hit by car in Barron County, 2 dead following crash
BARON COUNTY, Wis. (FOX 9) - Two people were killed in Wisconsin when a van carrying 10 occupants and a car with four occupants collided Monday evening.
According to the Barron County Sheriff’s Office, the car traveling west on County Road A near Ridgeland, struck the van going north on Highway 25 around 5:52 p.m.
One occupant in the van, a 54-year-old man, was killed in the crash. Other passengers in van range in age from 8-54, and were taken to area hospitals and treated for serious to minor injuries.
A 13-year-old boy was also killed in the crash, and was a passenger of the car.
The crash remains under investigation.
