Woman injured in St. Cloud shooting
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KMSP) - An 18-year-old woman received minor injuries after getting shot in a vehicle in St. Cloud, Minnesota Tuesday evening, according to St. Cloud police.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in an alley in the 300 block of 8th Avenue just after 11:00 p.m. When they arrived, no one was there and nothing appeared damage.
About 20 minutes later, a woman grazed by a bullet arrived at the emergency room at St. Cloud Hospital. Police learned the shooting was related to the earlier report of shots fired. The woman had been sitting in the back row of a vehicle. Officers found a bullet hole in the vehicle's rear door.
Police don't believe this was a random incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
