MN weather: Sun, more isolated rumbles Wednesday

Wednesday is almost a carbon copy of Tuesday, with sunshine, warmth, and isolated rumbles throughout the day. A stray rumble is possible in the morning with an overall bright and warm early afternoon. Isolated downpours and thunder could last into the evening. Things turn steamy and dry on Thursday.

Tuesday will be more of the same, with highs in the 80s and chances for isolated storms in the afternoon and evening. Things will clear out by Thursday, and temperatures could heat up into the 90s later this week.

Monday morning started with some shower in southeastern Minnesota, with a mix of sun and clouds as the morning starts for the rest of the state. Select parts of the state will have possible pop up rumbles.

A few isolated storms will be possible Sunday afternoon and evening across Minnesota while most end up closing out this holiday weekend and a very pleasant note. Weather will be similar once again for Monday.

Rainfall totals from our Independence Day

Rain interrupted a large area of Minnesota for the Fourth of July. Most of the Metro had steady rain through the afternoon with the break from the wet weather occurring just in time for some evening grilling and firework displays.
