Judge Chu tells Kim Potter she can change her mind, choose not to testify
Hennepin County Judge Regina Chu began court Wednesday by letting the defendant, Kim Potter, know that if she should change her mind about testifying, she may do so. She may request a jury instruction that explains it is her right not to testify and that it should not be held against her if she chooses not to testify.
