Kim Potter trial: 'She betrayed a 20-year-old kid,' state says in opening statement
Assistant Attorney General Erin Eldridge delivered the opening statement for the state in the trial of Kimberly Potter, the ex-Brooklyn Center police officer charged with shooting and killing Daunte Wright during a traffic stop in April. Eldridge said Potter betrayed her badge, her oath and her position of public trust when she shot Wright.
