Kim Potter, the former Brooklyn Center police officer, explained that if she had not been field training Officer Anthony Luckey on April 11, 2021, she likely would not have stopped Daunte Wright's vehicle for expired tabs or an air freshener hanging from his rearview mirror because those are minor violations particular during the COVID-19 pandemic.
