The Hortmans' children greet attendees
Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark Hortman, along with their dog Gilbert, lie in state at the Minnesota Capitol. Their children, Colin and Sophie, greeted the first man in line to pay his respects. He arrived at 6 a.m. Friday. The public was invited to pay their respects to the Hortmans from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday.
