Judge to recall 7 jurors already seated in Derek Chauvin trial
Judge Peter Cahill granted the defense?s motion Monday to call back the seven jurors who have already been seated at some point to question them on if they have heard or read anything about the city's recently announced $27 million civil settlement with the family of George Floyd and the impact that could have on their impartiality in the case. Chauvin's attorney Eric Nelson told the judge he was "gravely concerned" about how the settlement news could impact the jury pool.
