MN weather: Tracking Thursday snow

The Twin Cities area is set to see its first significant snowfall this winter as a system moves into the state on Thursday.

The Brief

    • Multiple school districts are reporting delays and closings on Thursday.
    • A winter storm warning is in effect that includes the Twin Cities and the entire I-94 corridor on Thursday.
    • The system is expected to bring bitterly cold air on Friday and into the weekend.

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - The first accumulating snow event for the Twin Cities metro of the year is happening on Thursday, with the Winter Storm Warning expected to make the morning commute a little dicey across Minnesota and Wisconsin.
