3rd murder in 1 week on St. Paul's eastside

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - St. Paul police are investigating the deadly shooting of a woman Sunday night near the intersection of Beaumont Street and Bedford Street. Officers were called to the scene at about 8 p.m. on a  report of shots fired and found a woman with gunshot wounds.

The woman was taken to Regions Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses to determine what led to the shooting. No suspects have been identified.

St. Paul police are working with the Ramsey County medical examiner to determine an exact cause of death and confirm the victim’s identity.

This is the third murder on St. Paul's east side in the past week.
