6 juveniles injured in rollover crash involving stolen pick-up truck

Six juveniles were injured after a pick-up truck rolled over near Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, early Saturday morning. All six kids - ages 11 to 14 - are from New Ulm, Minn. The pick-up was reported as stolen last Sunday.

According to police, the vehicle rolled over just before 1 a.m. at the intersection of Brown County Road 27 and Brown County Road 10.

The occupants include Sandra Adame, 13; Elias Alvarez, 11; Hunter Hutchens, 14; Colton Krienke, 14; Ruben Olivarez Jr., 14 and Bryan Singlaterry, 14.

Alvarez, Olivarez and Singlaterry were airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for serious injuries, and the other three were treated for various injuries at Sleepy Eye Medical Center and released.

According to HCMC officials as of Monday afternoon, Alvarez is in critical condition, and Olivarez and Singlaterry are in satisfactory condition.

The truck, a 1999 Ford F-150, was reported as stolen from New Ulm on Aug. 27.

The crash and vehicle theft are still under investigation.
