Boy dies after playground accident in Comfrey, Minn. Wednesday
COMFREY, Minn. (KMSP) - A 9-year-old is dead after sustaining injuries in a "playground accident" in Comfrey, Minnesota Wednesday.
According to the Comfrey Police, multiple agencies responded to reports of an unresponsive juvenile male at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The incident occurred at a playground at 112 Eastern Ave.
Law enforcement transported the boy to Springfield Medical Center for the injuries, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, according to Comfrey Police Chief Eric Schwarzrock.
Comfrey Police Department identified the boy as Gavin Ludewig.
