A woman says she was shot after being cut off by another driver heading south in the thick of rush hour at the Hennepin-Lyndale reconstruction site in Minneapolis.

The woman told police she was driving south on Hennepin Avenue at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday when a Jeep cut her off, she honked her horn, and the Jeep pulled up next to her and someone inside fired a gun.

She was shot four times, once in the stomach, three times in the arm, but managed to drive to Hennepin and 19th and called 911. She was taken to the hospital where she remains in stable condition.

Police are looking for a tan, ivory or gold Jeep Grand Cherokee with tinted windows and three men in their 20s. One of the men has shoulder-length black dreadlocks. Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects or the suspect vehicle to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
