Man seriously injured in shooting in north Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - A man is in critical condition, but expected to survive after a shooting in north Minneapolis, according to Minneapolis police.

The incident happened around 9:24 p.m. Tuesday near N 36th Avenue and Colfax Avenue N.

Emergency crews took the man, who was shot in the back, to a nearby hospital.

Suspects left the area before police arrived.

The case remains under investigation.
