Police: Multiple reports of pickup ramming garages in northeast Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Police are warning residents in the Waite Park and Audubon neighborhoods in northeast Minneapolis after receiving several reports of a pickup truck ramming garage doors to try to gain access.
Since Nov. 1, there have been four reports of an older, gray Dodge Dakota pickup truck crashing into garage doors and two reports of burglaries from garages. All six incidents were reported last week.

Burglary
- 3500 Pierce Street Northeast, Nov. 8, 1 a.m.
- 3200 Taylor Street Northeast, Nov. 9, 6 p.m.
Police are recommending residents take steps to protect their property by securing the main and service doors to the garage at all times and reporting any suspicious activity, vehicles or people to the police.
