St. Paul PD: Como Park home invasion suspect may have head wound
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - St. Paul police are looking for a suspect in a home invasion that happened Thursday night, Sept. 22 in the Como Park neighborhood. Officers were dispatched to a home on the 1600 block of Maywood Street at about 9:50 p.m. and spoke with the homeowners, who said they were in their house when the suspect entered through a breezeway and demanded money.
The suspect was armed with a rifle. One of the homeowners grabbed the gun and fought with the suspect, who eventually ran out the door and down the street.
Police said it’s possible the suspect has a wound on his head from struggling with one of the homeowners over the gun. St. Paul police have increased patrols in the area. Anyone with information is asked to call 651-266-5650.
