The unfortunate side effect of our weekend warm up

Sneezing, runny nose, itchy watery eyes, some trouble breathing, fatigue... no these are not symptoms of the flu, it’s what millions of us deal with every spring and summer; allergies.  While many of us can’t wait for the warm up every spring, for many it can be just the start of several months of misery.  Yes, many of us that suffer from seasonal allergies have already felt them kick in over the last few weeks, but they are about to get a whole lot worse.  The combination of the bountiful April sunshine and the rising temperatures heading into and through the weekend will likely ignite tree pollen levels to their highest point since last spring.  High enough in fact, that even folks that don’t typically have spring allergies may feel the effects with a runny nose, sensitive eyes, or even some added fatigue as the thick pollen attacks everybody’s immune systems.  The bright side?  With a flurry of tree pollen around this weekend, it won’t be long before the buds appear and the green returns to Minnesota.
