Twin Cities transit fares set to increase by 25 cents
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - If you use public transportation in the Twin Cities, remember to bring a little extra money starting in October.
Fares are set to increase by 25 cents for regular routes and 50 cents for Metro Mobility routes, starting on Oct. 1.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will continue to accept cash and its Go-To Card system.
The Transit Assistance Program opening Oct. 2 will also allow low-income commuters to use regular routes for just $1 per ride.
