U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn injured in World Cup race

Minnesota native and U.S. Ski Team member Lindsey Vonn was injured in a crash during the women's World Cup super-g in Andorra on Saturday.

Vonn was two thirds of the way down the run and was in the lead when she got caught in the soft snow and crashed, according to the U.S. Ski Team. She was taken off the hill by sled patrol.

In an update posted to social media Saturday afternoon, Vonn said she suffered a hairline fracture in her left knee as a result of the crash.

She is still listed on Sunday's World Cup start list, but said she will wait and see how she feels tomorrow before deciding if she will race.
