Vikings QB Sam Bradford wins NFC Player of the Week honors

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) - Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford won the award for NFC Offensive Player of the Week following his week one performance against the New Orleans Saints.

Bradford threw for 346 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions in route to a 29-19 victory. In addition, he also threw for a career best 143.0 passer rating while posting a competition percentage of 84.4 percent. 

Bradford is the 11th player to win a weekly NFC player of the week award under coach Mike Zimmer.
