11-month-old found dead after fire in northern Minnesota
TOWER, Minn. (KMSP) - An 11-month old boy has died after a fire Wednesday morning in Tower, Minnesota.
Around 7:39 a.m., Breitung police and authorities from the St. Louis County sheriff's office and Tower Fire department responded to a fire at 813 3rd Street North.
When they arrived, there was smoke billowing out of the second story window "along with flames coming out of the bottom floor window. After the fire was extinguished, firefighters located an 11-month-old infant deceased inside," according to a release.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and names are being withheld pending notification of family members.
