2 teens seriously hurt in shooting at St. Cloud basketball court

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (FOX 9) - Two teens were seriously hurt Friday night in St. Cloud when a gunman fired shots at a basketball court.

According to St. Cloud police, two 17-year-old boys were at the Reach Up Park basketball court around 8:12 p.m. when a suspect inside a white sedan on 10th Avenue SE opened fire, hitting each boy once.

Both victims were rushed to St. Cloud Hospital in serious condition but were considered stable on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Police are still working to make an arrest. Officers say the vehicle drove from the scene headed north on 10th Avenue SE.

The motive behind the shooting is not yet known.
