Delta to end NRA discount as pressure mounts
Delta Air Lines announced that it is ending its discount program with the National Rifle Association, as many other corporations re-evaluate ties to the industry after the Parkland school shooting.
Delta took to Twitter, writing that it will "be requesting that the NRA remove our information from their website."
This comes as petitions spread online, targeting companies that offer discounts to NRA members.
Other companies distancing themselves from the NRA include MetLife Inc., which discontinued its discount program with the NRA on Friday. The car rental company Hertz and Symantec Corp., the software company that makes Norton Antivirus technology, did the same.
