Wrong-way driver killed in crash with semi on CR 75 near St. Cloud, Minn.

A 29-year-old woman was killed in a crash with a semi-truck Tuesday outside St. Cloud, Minnesota.

At 2:33 p.m., St. Cloud police officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash between a car and a semi on the 23000 block of County Road 75. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police believe the car was traveling southbound in the northbound lane of County Road 75 and likely caused the crash. 

The driver has been identified as Amina Mohamed Abdi of St. Cloud. She was the only occupant of the vehicle. 

The driver of the semi, a 28-year-old man from Becker, was not injured. 

County Road 75 was closed for several hours following the accident. 

The crash remains under investigation, but St. Cloud police said no charges are expected to be filed.
