Adrian Peterson, wife, welcome baby boy, Axyl Eugene

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Vikings running back Adrian Peterson became a father again on Sunday morning.
He and his wife, Ashley, welcomed their new son, Axyl Eugene Peterson, on a sunny Vikings game day before taking on the San Diego Chargers at TCF Bank Stadium. Peterson was listed as active before the game.
USA TODAY's Tom Pelissero reported Peterson told USA TODAY Sports during training camp that his wife was due Oct. 4, the day the Vikings play the Broncos in Denver, and he planned to play no matter when the baby was born. He said he'd be there right after to see her if she's in labor while he's on the field, but he's "got to take care of business."
Pelissero reported Axyl is Peterson's seventh child, and the couple's second.
