Police respond to deadly shooting in Hawthorne neighborhood of Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Minneapolis Police say they are investigating a deadly shooting in the Hawthorne neighborhood Sunday.
According to a police spokesperson, the shooting occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of 26th Street and Logan Avenue North.
When officers arrived, the victim was in grave condition. He was hospitalized and died shortly thereafter.
No suspects are in custody, but some people near the scene have been taken in for questioning, police say.
Police believe the two people involved in the incident are known to each other.
