After being named the "World’s Best Cinnamon Rolls", the people behind Isles Bun & Coffee in Minneapolis are providing an update saying patrons seeking to try one can expect a longer wait than they’re used to.

Isles Bun & Coffee in Minneapolis won the 2024 World's Best Cinnamon Rolls honor after a year-long search that spanned four continents and thousands of submissions.

The result of which has created an even stronger demand for an already fan-favorite.

In an update provided on Thursday, the company says it has noticed longer lines than usual, and due to its limited oven capacity – operating only two – they have been doing their best to manage the influx of orders.

But patience will be required if you want one.

To prioritize the experience of those waiting in line, the company says it will not be accepting mobile or advanced orders this weekend.

"We want to ensure that every customer has a fair opportunity to enjoy our treats without taking precedent over those who are braving the cold to visit us in person," the company said in a statement.

If you’re looking to indulge without a line ahead of you, the company recommends stopping by after 1 p.m. on weekdays, or during its first hour (6:30 to 7:30 a.m.) and last (4 p.m. to 5 p.m.) of business.

Frozen options available

For those looking for something quicker, the company says they are offering a selection of frozen options that can be taken home after waiting in line to place your order.
