Woman found dead in Blue Earth Co. home prompts ‘suspicious’ death investigation
LAKE CRYSTAL, Minn. (FOX 9) - Law enforcement is investigating the "suspicious" death of a woman who was reportedly found inside a Blue Earth County home Thursday night.

What we know:
The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office said at around 7:18 p.m., a 911 caller reported finding his friend inside a home on 525th Avenue, located just north of Highway 60 in the City of Lake Crystal.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they confirmed that the woman was dead. Officials have not shared further details about the victim, but said the circumstances surrounding her death are considered suspicious.
The woman’s death remains under investigation, with assistance from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
The Sheriff’s Office said in a press release on Friday there does not appear to be a threat to the public.
What we don't know:
Authorities did not say exactly why they consider the circumstances of the woman’s death to be suspicious, or whether any arrests have been made.
